Photoshop convert photos into paintings / sketches

1. prepare an image that will be edited and then take the paper that wanted to serve as the base of the painting .... (any paper or wall .. or whatever your own) as an example I will use this picture

2. image selection effort is made to the paper wrote using the pen tool / polygoon lasso tool.

3. after that enter the drawing paper that has been cut earlier to the image that will be edited and set the paper size using the transformation (ctrl + T)

4. who want to copy the image in the edit (ctrl + j) loop image layer above the layer of paper ... then copy again ... then desaturate the image and copy it to the two hidden images copyan 1 (ctrl + shift + u)

4. Copy the hidden layer had a picture ... then desaturate the layer of paper (ctrl + shift + u)

6. because the paper is rather dark picture ... we set the brightness with the dark curves (ctrl + m) ... set up your own.

7. (1) click on the layer black and white images and a hidden layer with a color copy (ctrl + click the layer) ... (2) sliding or transform the second layer until the part that wants to be a painting is in the paper .

8. (1) copy of the layer of black and white ... (2) click the first layer of black and white .... go to filter> sketch> photocopy

9. detail and darkness set to line the eyes nose and mouth may seem .... or who want to face lines revealed .

10. Now click the black and white layer you just copied ... go to filter> sketch> graphic pen ... set shading and level of darkness as you wish ..

11. change the blending mode of both black and white layer to multiply .. and combine (merge down) (ctrl + e).

12. click eraser ... right click on the image ... select the brush on top .. open brushes (can be displayed in the window> brushes) ... adjust the dynamic shape and size of the brush according to taste ....

13. delete up to as above .. better if there are parts missing .. to look like half-finished painting ... 14. Reduce the opacity (transparency) on the layer image ... combine with layers of paper ... (ctrl + e) 15. set the paper form .... (It's up to you .. want to set or not)

16. to finishing .. I usually add a background ... The good pencil drawings add about painting ... to layer color images that can be hidden earlier in the color of the sketch to look like paintings (reduce opacity and change the blending mode so multiply)
